IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC DURING THE NIGHT AND TOMORROW LOCAL GUSTS OF NE
WIND STRENGTHENING TO 30-40 KNOTS.
SYNOPSIS
A ridge of high pressure is extending from the north toward the
Adriatic, while a shallow low over the Ionian Sea is shifting further
southeastwards.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
NW wind 6-16 knots. During the night in the North and in a part of the
Central Adriatic NE wind 6-16, strengthening in places of the North
Adriatic to 12-22, along the coast of the rest of the Adriatic NE wind
4-10, in the open NW 4-12 knots. Sea 2-3, in the Velebit Channel during
the night 3-4. Visibility 20-30 km. Mostly clear with some clouds in
places at times.

Fine or fair. Moderate, in the North Adriatic in the morning up to
strong NE, in the Central and South Adriatic around midday moderate NW
wind. Sea smooth or slight, in the North Adriatic in the morning up to
moderate. Air temperatures a little lower in the North, with no
significant change in the rest of the Adriatic.
